The first stages of child development are brain development, physical growth and personal awareness. The human brain has approximately four stages, from newborn to age three.
The most important thing about childhood is that you are a child, until your parents give you legal rights and responsibilities. You can learn so much during the first two years of life if you follow good parenting principles. These are not exclusive to a particular gender, but to everyone.
Child Development Is Never So Easy
Child Development Processes And Stages: “Every human being begins with the thought ‘I am.’ This is a fundamental aspect of the human experience.” – Dr. Allan Hobson, Psychology Today
Your child should be able to make independent decisions at a very young age, for example between dressing up and playing with dolls. But your baby’s age does not always correlate with a higher level of self-esteem. Babies that have had a difficult birth, problems such as prematurity, or other medical or developmental issues may need additional assistance to make these decisions. It is common for babies to need parental guidance and support during the first year of life.
The reason for these stages is that during the child development process, your baby is becoming more aware of themselves, their bodies, their surroundings, and the world around them. By the age of two your baby can start to understand the difference between toys and others, with regard to personal experiences.
During this developmental process, babies tend to immerse themselves in all that surrounds them. They interact with their parents on a more frequent basis and are learning to express themselves through many different ways. They begin to talk and babble, and start to distinguish sound from meaning.
During the child development process, infants learn how to move around and communicate, use their hands to grasp things, carry things, and move around objects, and develop their physical movements. The ability to communicate with their ears, lips, and eyes is essential to the child development process. It’s the development of the sense of hearing that is essential for babies to develop speech in the first couple of years of life.
Child Development Needs Personal Attention
At six months of age, your baby will be learning to read and to write. And will be one of the first babies to develop a language. The child development process continues from then on. You can count on this time in your baby’s life to help in developing your baby’s intellect and abilities to think, speak, and learn.
Personal Development: During this period babies start to develop the ability to differentiate between their emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Some babies will imitate the feelings and actions of other babies they see or hear. While others will draw their own ideas from their own experiences.
During the child development process you will find your baby is becoming familiar with his/her names, stories, people, objects, animals, and places. Each day you will notice that your baby will learn new skills and expand their vocabulary. In order to help your baby to gain self-confidence, you will encourage this process through speaking, modeling, and modeling the successful behavior.
At about eight months of age your baby will begin to explore his/her environment and its features. This stage is when your baby learns how to identify colors, shapes, and textures. And where he/she can touch or move the things around him/her.
You must keep a strict schedule to successfully carry out this developmental process. In reality, everything needs to be done step by step. And a little discipline is still needed to help your baby stay on the developmental path.
